The Open Market Secure WebServer includes all of the features of the Open Market WebServer. Security

Microsoft's PCT Security Protocol

SSL Client Authenitication
The Secure WebServer provides a higher level of security through the use of SSL client authentication. With client authentication, a digitally signed request identifies the specific individual making the request, through the client's public key certificate. Client authentication provides a stronger level of security than simple user name/password authentication schemes, improves audit capabilities, and offers greater granularity in specifying access control policies.
Terisa Toolkit
Secure WebServer uses Terisa's latest S-HTTP toolkit. In combination with Open Market's multi-threaded architecture, the new toolkit increases the performance of S-HTTP request processing.
