Test it today, for FREE!

The Open Market Secure WebServer includes all of the features of the Open Market WebServer. It is the world's first WebServer offering simultaneous support for the Secure HyperText Transfer Protocol (S-HTTP), the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and now Microsoft's PCT protocol. Its major features include:

Security

The Open Market WebServer with Secure HTTP and SSL allows for the broadest possible access in secure environments. S-HTTP is superior among security approaches in its ability to:

The SSL protocol provides:

Microsoft's PCT Security Protocol

As part of Open Market's commitment to open standards, Secure WebServer includes support for Microsoft's secure transaction protocol, Private Communications Technology (PCT). The commitment to open standards makes Open Market's Secure WebServer the best choice for sites that need to support a wide variety of clients. A single instance of Secure WebServer will simultaneously support HTTP, PCT, SSL, and S-HTTP connections, in contrast with other commercially available Web servers which may support only a single protocol per server instance.

SSL Client Authenitication

The Secure WebServer provides a higher level of security through the use of SSL client authentication. With client authentication, a digitally signed request identifies the specific individual making the request, through the client's public key certificate. Client authentication provides a stronger level of security than simple user name/password authentication schemes, improves audit capabilities, and offers greater granularity in specifying access control policies.

Terisa Toolkit

Secure WebServer uses Terisa's latest S-HTTP toolkit. In combination with Open Market's multi-threaded architecture, the new toolkit increases the performance of S-HTTP request processing.
